Dixon Beach
Welcome to Dixon Beach, the primary setting of most of the comics I have created! Dixon Beach stemmed from my comic series Kid Quicksand, which needed a new original setting for the city.
Origins

Originally, it was called Liberty Town, just because it felt like an all-around typical metropolis, however, given the horny nature of the comic, I thought it should have a name that reflected that.

It was then called Peach City, after the peach emoji that's used to represent a plump butt. The name was meant to be Beach City, because of the beach, then someone erased part of the B, leaving it was Peach City. But then I found out Beach City was already in a popular animated series, so it wasn't unique enough.
Eventually I landed on Dixon Beach. I wanted it to be a pun, and the idea of "Dicks On Beach" was too silly to pass up. Plus I liked the idea that the mayor, Manny Dixon, as in "Many Dicks In", named it after himself, or his family.
About Dixon Beach

Dixon Beach is a lovely sea-side city built around a semi-circular beach, located somewhere in a low-fantasy version of Canada.
Dixon Beach's main tourism comes from it's beach, boardwalk and attractions, and bustling Main Street which leads down the middle of the city and right to the boardwalk.
It features a semi-active volcano a few kilometers off the shore of the beach. The heat from the volcano is what provides the beach with it's tropical atmosphere *, despite being located in Canada, known for it's colder temperatures.
The volcano island, known as Isla del Villano * , is the home-base of the villainous Doctor Kinkshame and his associate Rupert Kokslut. Inside of the hollowed out volcano is a rocky headquarters for the evil Doctor and his plans, with a big sideways K window to look out onto the city.
The island is full of dense jungle forests, caves, soft ground giving way to quicksand, and the ruins of an ancient civilization, currently being occupied by the Zida, a race of living plants that have mutated to form muscular humanoid creatures. The Zida are named after Ningishzida, an actual Mesopotamian deity of vegetation, and nature, often associated with snakes. The Zida worship some kind of earthen snake creature called Lurx, who is the quicksand naga that gave Clay Hunter his powers.
Dixon Beach is not immune to a cold winter, often snowing from mid-November into the new year. Snow was primarily shown in The Costume Shop Chapter 2, when we see Finn initially getting hired to work at the shop a few months after Halloween.
The Main Street is the main street of Dixon Beach, starting from the middle of the beach, and leading all the way up to City Hall, a small Romanesque-style civic building, with a newly built skyscraper behind it.
The tower holds many offices and businesses, including a penthouse for the Mayor's residence, occupied by Manny Dixon and his son Manny Dixon Jr. The lower penthouse is for the secret residences of PHAP, the Professional Heroes Admission Program. PHAP is the home-base for Kid Quicksand and his fellow heroes, lead by Mr. Scales. Because of the street's viewpoint, from any floor of the tower, you can see straight down Main Street to the beach and the iconic volcano.

Not pictured here is the tower, because it was old art!
Main Street also has many shops, boutiques, and restaurants, including Creamy, a unique bakery owned by Umbra, Demon of Darkness, in his human disguise. Directly across from Creamy you can find The Costume Shop, a dilapidated-looking Halloween store, where Finn works for Franklin the skeleton, selling living costumes to interested humans who want to get swallowed by them.
At the south end of Main Street, close to the boardwalk, is Deja Brew, the city's best coffee shop, where Finn's boyfriend Osiris is an employee.

The boardwalk of Dixon Beach contains many shops, restaurants, and attractions, including the Funhouse Of Frights, a mysterious, immersive, circus-themed maze, that seemingly only gay men can see and interact with. Anybody else sees an illusion of a Service Canada, but it's always closed. Franklin opened the Funhouse as an extra space to keep his living costumes, and keep them busy.

On the west side of the city, far from the city center, is Dick Wonky's Candy Factory. This fantastical structure with Mediterranean Revival architecture, is the main manufacturer and distributor of Wonky's Candies and Confections. Despite the strange nature of the machinery and objects in the factory, the actual candy is pretty mid.

Outside of the city, for many kilometers, and beyond the main farmlands, is a temperate broadleaf and mixed forests biome, with rolling green hills, dotted with deciduous trees, rivers, and a medium sized mountain range. Alex came here to paint before a buff White Rabbit shoved him up his butt and into Wonderland.
